Come paint with me in my light-filled studio, nestled in the grounds of an old manor house—a place where healing has echoed over time. This one-day acrylic painting workshop is an invitation to loosen the reins, to explore, and to play.

We will focus on expressive mark-making, loose brushwork, and an experimental approach to painting the land and coast. You’ll be encouraged to interpret the wild world through your own lens, capturing not just what you see, but what you feel and how you feel it. We aim to capture a sense of place, the emotion of what inspires and translate it onto canvas.

Welcome and tranquillity is prevalent here, a space where we can create and explore in a supportive, beautiful and relaxed environment.

This workshop is not about getting it ‘right’. It’s about breaking rules, embracing boldness, and discovering your own artistic voice, with guidance and constructive advice.

We’ll work intuitively, sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly—trusting the process and letting the land speak through the brush.

En plein air painting is hopeful, weather permitting. The manor’s grounds offer fields, ancient trees, a small lake, architecture and the whisper of time—all perfect muses for creative exploration.

No experience necessary—just a willingness to let go and see what unfolds.
